According to the principle of aerodynamics, the air separator takes the controllable air flow as the separation medium. The material is separated according to the density and particle size under the action of the air flow. The air flow can take the lighter materials ( such as paper, plastic bag, film, etc. ) up or take them to a farther place in the horizontal direction, while the heavy materials fall because the updraft is unable to support them, or being throwed to a closer distance in the horizontal direction due to inertia. Therefore, the wind separation process uses the sedimentation law of the material in the air as the foundation to achieve the purpose of classification.
